Hastings playing football instead of rugby and they score again! I think the same left winger, but he didn't do it alone.
Half time: Napier 8 - 10 Hastings
Napier looking the stronger team, but not able to convert opportunities into points due to a good Hastings defence.
Both Hastings tries were against the run of play, but they're grabbing their chances and that's how they've earned their lead. -

I'm not biased towards either team, but these commentators are such Hastings fanboys that it would almost make me a Napier supporter. Bloody hell, they talk more than my mother-in-law, who is a non-stop chatterbox.
That's a good balance then to the Hawkes Bay Today who are so pro Napier you'd think they were the only team in the province, even in the last two years with Hastings clearly on top HBT still fluffed Napier.

All's well with the world again, Napier twice as good as Hastings!
So I assume Napier's offside wasn't policed, they had a conversion awarded that slided to the left of the post, and the ref said to Napier Boys "we played a good game boys".

Yesterday was so good, winning the Battle of the Bays.
Today not so good, with the U19s absolutely smashed and Napier just missing out on the win in the Top 4. Still a great season, of course, with a one point loss in the Super 8 Final, Hurricanes Champions and a 3 point loss in the Top 4 Final, but they'll be gutted.Looking forward to seeing more from players like Tyrone Thompson, Leo Thompson, Patrick Teddy, Luke Russel, Keegan Christian-Goss and Jayden Stok.
And, obviously, also some talented players from the Hastings 1st XV squad, captain Liam Udy-Johns in particular.
