I thought it would be longer, but if Eagles do make it to GF he will miss and also the first game of next season.
Just heard that there will be a meeting between the two players organised by the Brayshaw family.

Watching the Dees VS Swans. Horrible but unsurprising stat for the Dees was that they were 0-6 VS top 9 sides and 12-1 VS the rest. And after a poor start VS the Swans (8th place?) they had a good run and have since gone into halftime behind by 14. Ruh roh.
-
Here come the Dees....but run out of time.
-
Oh yes, I'm the great, pretender
Ooo oo woo oo
-
Actually Melbourne might be fucked with road games v west coast and GWS to come, while Geelong have freo and the suns.

The final couple of rounds are going to be great with many games to decide the final makeup of the 8.
Dees have an excellent % so still in the hunt, but they’ve got West Coast in Perth and GWS at the G. Very likely they drop both of those.
Port have Collingwood (G) and Bombers (Adel) so not easy.
The Cats have two % boosters at home to finish off the season - Freo and Suns. They are a game behind so will need other results to go their way.
North have Crows in Adelaide. Crows are cooked but it’s a banana skin game for the Kangas. Then they finish off with the Saints, but if they don’t beat the Crows I think they are gone no matter how much they beat my team by.
The Bombers still a chance, albeit an outside one with the Tigers at the G and Port. Again if they don’t beat the Premiers, season over.

My neighbor is a big demons man. I've been in to him all week. We're going to sit down and watch them disappoint him this afternoon

You guys have quite a special relationship then.

Well, that was awesome. The Dees out to a decent early lead and were 20 points up or thereabouts for most of the game, then the Eagles came back and got their noses in front for the first time when the scores were in the 90s, before the Dees scored a couple of late goals and eventually won by I think 17. Pretty sure this guarantees the Dees will play finals football, while the Eagles are now not assured of a top two spot and a life in the finals. What a way to break the season-long hoo doo agiant top 8 (actually top 9) teams: as far away from home as possible and against a competition front runner.
Maybe, just maybe, this is the perfect elixer and confidence booster at the perfect time. We'll see next week against GWS.

Massive win for the Dees. Hats off to Gawn. He looked cooked about 10 into the final term and just kept motoring on. I reckon he’s a genuine Brownlow prospect given he’s been a standout in his team and the Dees have won enough.
-
The look of tension on my mates face when the Dees went behind late in the last was priceless. But then so was his absolute joy when they kicked away to win it. Good win, and they get to play finals. Wonder if that particular monkey getting off the back will free them up?

Actually a decent last round of games
Port need to win to have any chance of finals. They are probably cooked because Geelong have the Suns, but they'll go all out. Missing the finals is a very poor result for them given where they thought they were.
Sydney v Hawks, winner gets top 4, loser drops to 6th.
Dees v Giants winner gets a home final in the first week. No chance of either making the top 4 unless Sydney v Hawks is a draw.
So it's looking like
Tigers v Hawks/Sydney
West Coast v CollingwoodGWS/Melbourne v Geelong
Sydney/Hawks v Melbourne/GWS -
GWS has a terrible injury toll and it will take a huge improvement from their bottom 6-8 players to really impact the finals.

It’s looking like Tom lynch , Gold Coast captain and full forward will be joining the tigers next year as a free agent , so Richmond get him for nothing .
As a tiger supporter I’m pumped , but I reckon the afl will be thinking why did we agree to introduce free agency ?

Free agency absolutely works for teams in Victoria who are challenging for flags. It does not work for anyone else.
Lynch is a gun, but it will be interesting to see how he fits in to Richmond's system.
