cliche and superlative alert. Turn the channel fullas.
The sucking off of this game started in the Warriors game
This better live up to the hype.

Start all Bunnies, but couldn't work out that just giving it to a Burgess isn't a game plan.
So Roosters score first. This kid Radley is a gun
-
Roosters win. Superb definsively, shut down the souths attack completely. The bunnies attack ended up being 4 burgess hit ups per set

New Warriors coaching tactic: If we dress them like the Melbourne Storm, they will be the Melbourne Storm.
The running, man: Newcastle were run off the park tonight. The Warriors ran for over 2000 metres with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck alone running for 338 metres! If the NRL website wasn't so shit I would be able to know who the other Warriors were who cracked the 100m mark.
The magical 28: The points total considered "enough" to make the NRL playoffs is 28 and the Warriors have now reached that number with this win. More important is that the Broncos lost to the Cowboys, leaving them on 26 points and vulnerable to the last remaining playoff contender Wests Tigers (who have their own problems with the coach being linked to a return to Penrith).
The real MVP: It's Roger Tuivasa-Sheck but I want to point out a guy who was everywhere tonight - Jazz Tevaga. He made 40 tackles, many stopping frontrowers, made a number of darting runs through the middle of the field and made the offload which set up the Blake Green try to close the game. It was good to read that Jazz wants to play lock and doesn't see himself playing hooker. Can see him being our new Michael Luck (who can also run the ball and offload it too).
What about the other guys?: Newcastle is on the up with their recent additions but Kalyn Ponga alone will get them far. Didn't get many opportunities tonight but he's got the speed, skill and vision to easily replace Billy Slater in the Queensland side. Kiwis prop Herman Ese'ese is going to develop into a star forward for the Knights and was their best player against the Warriors.
Luke gets 250: It was game 250 for Isaac Luke and he was in fine form again. Stuck around after the game and watched his old Taranaki club do another haka for him which was a lot more special this time (last time was at Yarrow Stadium after the Warriors were smashed).
-
Yeah I thought Jazz was excellent. Luke is basically an 80 minute man so Jazz needs to carve out something a little different to get those minutes up and he did that last night.
-
Jazz pissed me off last week. Too many hitups where he died with the ball and because of his size it was a slow play the ball. But last night he was excellent againt a much worse defense
-
Ivan says FUCK YOU!!!! to Gus.
Nathan will be joining the Tigers in 2020.
-
Jesus was watching live scoring titans vs panthers. Wanted titans to get up for warriors playoff reasons.
Switch on with 1 minute to go. Panthers score then Cleary misses then nails the droppy in golden point. Hes special

The dragons are in free fall

They've run out of puff again in the home straight. Cannon fodder in the playoffs.

Having seen Roosters v Souths and Melbourne v Cronulla this weekend, it's pretty clear that not only are they the 4 best teams, they are also a level above the rest.

Not unbeatable but we will have to play pretty flawless footy (without stitch up refs) to beat them.

None of them are unbeatable
The Roosters look closest to the complete package, but their pack is beatable.
Souths are overly reliant on the Burgess boys running over teams.
Melbourne aren't clicking, and i think it's because Cam Smith has got old (just like JT)
Cronulla have ordinary halves so not many points in them. But the rest of the top 8 are going to have to be right on their game to beat them

without stich up refseven then we’re still fucked) to beat them.Think this is more accurate.

Apparently Trent Barrett has finally decided to quit as coach of Manly after months of threatening to quit. Geoff Toovey is shaping up as the likely replacement (they probably should have never fired him to begin with).

Not often that the coach decided he's had enough of a dumpster fire, and decides to walk.
I look forward to spittle-flecked press conferences and investigations

I find the Wayne Bennett being a bitch at Brisbane to be more fun actually. He wants two more years, the Board don't want to give it to him, so he is having a sulk (not that you could tell, the sour old bastard always looks like that). The Broncos look a mile from winning the comp, even with their cushy draw of 7 and 8 day turnarounds playing Thursday and Friday nights every week. Why would you renew, because of what he did 30 years ago?
