NRL 2018

Hey guys, do any of you know any assassins, ninjas, hitmen or gang members who can do a quick job tonight? Just need to quietly sort out four blokes in yellow jerseys before they fly back to Oz tomorrow....
Finalsque: Ignoring the main culprits for a second, this was one of the best games of the season. Definitely one of the coldest too. Both the Warriors and Cronulla had dominant moments in the game, made simple mistakes too, but ultimately it was a grinder as neither side was willing to let the other run away with it. Both Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Valentine Holmes were on fire and are the two best fullbacks in the NRL right now.
Injury crisis part two: The Warriors' season is in trouble again with key players injured. Bunty Afoa has a broken arm while Tohu Harris was carried off near the end with a knee injury. Add that Albert Vete has been released by the club and all we have in the NSW Cup forwards is Ligi Sao. Warriors need to see if Manly is willing to release Marty Taupau....
The real MVP: Agnatius Paasi. Man was throwing himself into everything. Threw himself into Kurt Capewell on a kick return and knocked him on his arse. Threw himself into Jesse Ramien on the goalline and knocked him on his arse too.
What about the other guys?: You mean Adam Gee, Chris Butler, Tim Roby and Chris McMillian? Yeah, they really gave it to the Warriors with some dirty play. Problem is they don't play for Cronulla, they were the refs. That forward pass to win it for Cronulla was the worst offence but the refs made a collection of horrific howlers. When I finally build that Terminator, and figure out time travel, I'm going to send it back in time to murder the parents of Adam Gee, Chris Butler, Tim Roby and Chris McMillian so they never ever officiate this match. Fuck em.
More Rogering: The Warriors attack lacks at times this season and it seems strange that they don't try and bring Roger Tuivasa-Sheck up into the line more (or even use Shaun Johnson out of dummyhalf). When they did tonight he caused trouble and they have capable fullback cover in guys likes Hiku, Beale, Fusitua and Maumalo if he was to get closer to the ball.

Dragons at the Storm might be game of the year. 61 minutes and its 30-28. The game is try for try, and the difference is a missed Cam Smith conversion
-
And then the storm bang on 4 tries to rack up 50
-
@mariner4life Crazy game. Usually the Thursday matches are boring but both teams are missing their Origin players.
-
Warriors will be facing a Penrith side on Friday night that is without their Origin stars but the Warriors will be missing Tohu Harris and Bunty Afoa for over a month after injuries in the Cronulla game.

some bloody good tries were scored.
In the end the Storm managed to cut down their errors that were handing St George points, and the Dragons were buggered. Nightingale playing 50-odd minutes on the right edge, made 40 tackles, and was rooted. So of course the Storm sent a fuck ton of traffic his way.

Refs play in up again

Although, it's irrelevant really, the Warriors are fucking awful.
-
The wheels are starting to come off - the Warriors should have won against a team without Nathan Cleary or James Maloney.
They are now facing Brisbane and Melbourne next, it's going to be a hellish few weeks. The Warriors big problem this season: they play too conservative against the top sides for large periods of the game. Live a little.
-
I thought long and hard about tipping the Warriors this week. Happy i didn't but sad that it's clearly the start of something we are all too familiar with.
Missed Harris tonight. He seems to keep Hiku, who was fucking horrible, interested.
Johnson needs to run. Same story, different game. Just fucken run.
Green needs to get his long kicking game going again. He was killing it early in the season but has gone off the boil. Didnt help. he played through a bit of an injury picked up in the 1st half.
Too many guys playing reasonably well not to be winning these games. RTS, Luke, Maumalo(demon bringing it back and put in some agressive d) , Paasi, Kata, Blair all had fairly ok games tonight. That's alot of players going well and you'd think it would go some way to winning a game.
Some pretty rubbish penalties given away and some line balls called forward which got our heads down. When we get that happening against us, the 50/50 calls, we go into our shell and just let the other team play their game.
Please boys. Turn it the fuck around.
-
Wait, they played tonight? I saw them on the team bus but didn’t see them get off it...
-
Warriors, Broncos at 4pm. Warriors have named a strange bench with two centres, one hooker/backrower and a prop. Think Ligi Sao will be a late callup before kick off....

How did so promising a season fall over so far?
The Broncos are a very limited side, but i have zero confidence we will win this

Injuries - more so the Tohu Harris injury. Shaun Johnson and Blake Green have also been quite quiet during the Origin period, they both need to step up in the home straight if we are to make the playoffs.
