    @tim I've never used tunnelbear. Do you need to download it? Does it use much memory and slow things down? That was one of the reasons why I un-installed Cyberghost.

    rugbypass seems to have figured out that maybe I'm not really in Asia...
    I suspect my experimenting with using different countries' VPNs tipped them off.
    Anybody else got an email from them about "yeah, you've obviously been using VPNs and shit - we're cancelling your account in 3 days" ?
    Trying to figure out if claiming that I've been travelling between Malaysia/Singapore/India extensively over the last few weeks (sometimes, in the hours between games) is going to work... or if I'm screwed.

    Anything will work. They don’t want to lose the business. This is just them arse covering.

    @kruse Do you have a credit card from a NZ bank (or at least a bank outside Asia)? I've considered using rugbypass with VPN, but wonder whether it will work if they notice that your bank is from NZ/Aus.

    I had rugbypass when travelling around Asia, set up account with an NZ credit card and watched in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand without any issue or them contacting me.

    The only problem I had was that they tried to sting for a yearly account rather than a 3 monthly one so I had to argue with them a bit. I used it in OZ with a VPN for two weeks as well.

    @nepia good luck

    Thanks all for the help. I wound to on a dodgy stream on fibre. It was HD quality. Amazing really, in the other side of the world

    Yeah - that's what I was hoping, but they didn't just accept my initial response...
    @Stargazer - yeah, part of the problem is that I'm paying with a card with a UK address on it,
    ... but also, that they logged me accessing it from UK on 2 recent occasions.
    So - explained that yes, resident in the UK - but often travel in Asia, and when I do - I sometimes get issues with it on my work laptop until I disconnect from work network. Waiting to see if that's adequate... as it should explain anything they're seeing/logging.

    @kruse Can't you say you were using your UK office's VPN?

    Yeah - that's what I'm hinting at, without outright stating it and showing knowledge of VPNs.
