Yusss, try Spowart!! Only just now discover he's playing in the 14 jersey. What happened to Sullivan?

    27 - 18 NZ after 64 minutes.

Tucker replaces Akauola-Laula; Numia comes on for Cobb.

Riedlinger-Kapa replaced by Sotutu; glad they kept Flanders on (although moving him to blindside).

The lack of commitment in the rucks is a worry. How many balls did the NZ U20 lost there ?

Looked like a knock-on from the Aussies?

It looks like Roe is nog coming on this game. He could have made a difference. Renton is going well, but Roe is better.

Christie to the bin. Not his first, but why was it this time?

Another turnover because of another Aussie counter ruck. Where are the NZ forwards ?

Full time: New Zealand 27 - 18 Australia

    Tough game, but deserved win.

Flanders the clear stand-out in this game, and Trask and Koroi in the backs. Clarke not bad either.

    Couple of random things:

    1. Glad we had independent TV producer. You could mount an argument that the pass back to Koroi (?) after the quick throw in drifted forward. Did look straight straight along the halfway line but an anti NZ perspective may push an agenda if replayed over and over.

    2. What was the argument for Christie's YC at the end. My view of the replay he seemed to enter the gate and stay on his feet. Was it argued it was a ruck?

did our scrum improve in the 2nd spell, I had to come to work so missed the 2nd half, but our scrum was a bit shit in the 1st half, you'd have to think will struggle even more against typically strong scrummagers in SA/England if we make it past the French.

I was a bit surprised by that YC as well. Have to see it on the replay. Agree about that pass back to Koroi just before Spowart's try (see below).
