Does anyone know what went on in the Manly v Storm match - I'm trying to piece it together. A player came on early from sin bin or something. And I saw some footage of a Storm player smacking Dylan Walker in the face about three times.
The NRL official who was watching those in the sinbin forgot to stop the watch when a try was scored.
Andrew Voss pointed out the obvious solution to that never happening again:

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is back for the game against the Bunnies at Mt Smart Stadium but his wife is due to give birth on Saturday which means Peta Hiku will slot back into fullback and Gerard Beale into the centres.

Oh lawdy - Lino is out and Hiku is moving into the halves. Beale moves into centre. I have no idea who will kick the goals.

So RTS is playing or is someone coming in to replace Hiku?

Bunnies too good.
This bye week can't come soon enough.
Let's get physical: Back-to-back home losses and it was the physicality that cost the Warriors again (that and an injured squad). Just like the Cocks, the Bunnies got up in the Warriors face and came out on top. Guys like Adam Blair, James Gavet and Simon Mannering (who was terrible tonight) need to step up in those moments. Didn't happen.
Why not Rog? The Hiku in the halves option didn't work. Didn't help that he was playing on a busted foot either (you could see him hobbling around for much of the game). The team would have been better if Karl Lawton was playing a hooker-type game from halfback or.... brought Roger Tuivasa-Sheck up into the line and dropped Gerard Beale or David Fusitua into fullback. Roger's defensive work has been great in 2018 but they need to use him more in the attack when guys like Shaun Johnson and Mason Lino are out.
The real MVP: wasn't playing for the Warriors tonight. Had to be Bunnies hooker Damien Cook who is going to be the rake for Australia and NSW for the next decade. He's a smart player, outplayed Isaac Luke and had the Warriors backpedalling most of the game. Also made the most tackles with 44.
What about the other guys? After a loss in Perth and a slow start to the season, the Rabbitohs are the best team in the NRL right now. The Warriors had all the momentum early on but once a Burgess was sinbinned the Rabbitohs went on a rampage and the Warriors never got back in it. Led by Cook this is a team that will be in the hunt for a grand final appearance. They're actually a likeable team, mainly because they've banished Robbie Farah to the NSW Cup.
Southern comfort: After losing to Souths, the Warriors are heading south after the bye to play the Manly Sea Eagles in Christchurch at Rugby League park. Hopefully Shaun Johnson, Isaac Luke, Adam Blair, Peta Hiku are all healthy by then.

Just got sent this from a mate. Corey Norman and Segearo behind him.
Dunno how to upload a video but anyway haven't seen it in the media just ' Norman fined for drinking while injured'.
The video is a naked chick legs open some dude videoing while Norman is like video me doing a fanny (precedes to tip a beer (or probably a breezer) down here while he drinks it up. James in the background just having a watch.

Fuck. Yes.
What is the point of playing sport for a living if awesome shit like this is frowned upon?

Warriors about to play an away game in ChCh to the bogey team Manly. Roger is out so Hiku is confirmed at fullback.

Got around to watching the replay - comfortable win (as it should be) for the Warriors.
A little R & R never hurt anyone: In their last game before the bye week, the Warriors looked tired. After more travel than any other team this season, and also a number of key players either injured or playing with injuries, the boys needed a refresher. Isaac Luke looked the most refreshed on the park against Manly, especially when he went WWF on Cherry-Evans by taking him to suplex city.
The SJ & Fus show: Shaun Johnson was back for his 150th NRL game and was at his attacking best. SJ seems to have stopped trying to be the organiser in the team, leaving that to Blake Green and Luke. This meant he could pick his moments to attack and it resulted in two long-range tries with David Fusitua. Fus bagged a hattrick and is nearing 20 tries for the season.
The real MVP: Shaun Johnson, David Fusitua, Isaac Luke, Ken Maumalo are all among the guys who played well last night but Simon Mannering was his usual high performance self. This is looking to be his last season (he seems ready to retire but wants to reach the 300 club first) as the team is ready to move on with Isaiah Papalii but he's still got something left in the tank. Really shut down some of the key Manly players.
What about the other guys?: Manly has been losing this season and are already eliminated. The Trbojevic bros looked tired backing up from Origin, Daly Cherry-Evans is hated by everyone it seems, Trent Hodkinson has returned to his old club but still can't tackle while their forward pack is talented but can't go the full 80 minutes. Add their salary cap woes and it's gonna be a long rebuild.
Best moment of the game: Ken Maumalo fending Cherry-Evans three times during a kick return. That moment switched the game around and the Warriors dominated the rest of the way. Plus it was fun watching Cherry-Evans getting swatted away like a fly not once, not twice but thrice.

@stargazer No surprises there. I can see Isaac Luke, Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck all being made unavailable for the Denver test too.

@sneakdefreak i fucking hope so

I fucking hope not. I'm sick of club and aussie bogans v other aussie bogans being prioritised over everything.
