Waratahs v Blues

Pffft hahaha that's it, switch off the life support, Aus Rugby is officially dead.
How did it come this far? It puts the woes of our Blues brethren in perspective when an entire country is this far gone.

That wasn't very smart from Ioane...
Had time to place it and go again
Could have popped it up to a support.
Having said that I didn't think he was held on replay. Did think he was at normal speed.
Watched recording this a.m. First half Peyper made some "interesting" calls IMO.
- The above
- Manu "past the horizontal": it wasn't but uf it was it should be a yellow
- contest in the air where it came forward of the Blues player and he was penalised
- Blues new player Parparly's (must have been his debut ... late replacement for Papali'i) high shot: I thought you removed the player who committed the offence when considering the "probable " outcome, thus probable try

If he was held, then I believe he would've placed it.. But he wasn't so he stood back up..
Even I didn't know he had to place the ball.. Does this rule apply to ankle taps?Don't think so. Not held you can go again can't you?

All this pressure because Pulu has not taken responsibility of the exit and also guilty of throwing crap passes
This.
The exits and kicking are worse when he starts. Last 20? Off the bench? Sure. But heβs no starter. And captain, fucking ha ha.
Apparently the game plan is to try for 80m trys. Not kidding.
Worth 7 in some comps

Manu looks handy... Shitty pass from Duffie.
It was a no look pass, why?!? A basic pass would have been more effective
Saw him do that on a couple of occassions. Think it's his passing technique not a deliberate no look.

That Ioane call is hard. (Watching replay now)
made worse by commentators wanking on about how it's a great call
Hoiles. Fuck. The new Kearns.

Consecutive posts. Made I laugh.
@kirwan said in Waratahs v Blues:
Thank fuck they kicked it.
@nepia said in Waratahs v Blues:
Why did they kick that????

On the upside - I thought Papali'i outplayed Hooper. Be nice of the commentators could learn now to pronounce his name.
Dalton and his family pronounce it Papali not Papali'i.
Really. My apologies to the Parparlys.

I wonder if the owner if the name gave up correcting them.
I guess this is what happens in intercultural relationships (assuming Dalton isn't full Samoan) -
@taniwharugby the Blues are playing one of the games of 3 halves against Northland/ Harbour/Auckland during the test window break, will confirm the date .

Apologies Kurtley, this information renders my belicosity insufficient. As you were young man, but I do think another phase or 2 and you win.

It's still no excuse and this is one of my biggest criticisms of Beauden. Just because you get an advantage or think that you did, doesn't mean the first option should be a cross kick. It's such a low percentage play and Beauden seems to opt for this more often than not. The better option would be to go through multiple phases and since it's so close to the try line, even if nothing comes from it you know you are guaranteed of getting the penalty anyway.

@nta more so when so many refs will (or have) called advantage over after 2 passes, drop it on the 3rd attacking from deep you are now setting a defensive scrum...how often do we see ref call advantage over and then the team that had it make an error.
