Brumbies v Crusaders
-
How much time does Pyper want to give the hooker to get the ball in..?
-
Very professional performance from the saders, not their most memorable 2nd half by any stretch, but you have got to admire something that even the best coaches can’t put in,Heart when it comes to defence, when they were down to 13 players their D was sensational along with some smart leadership to slow the game down .
Experience in the forwards and the backs as the skipper summarised it.Brumbies reminded me of the Blues, let’s just run head long into contact..

Bit of an iffy performance tonight, especially that second half. Some ugly rugby in there.
Hall continues to impress me whilst I don’t want Drummond anywhere near an AB jersey if that was in Hansen and co’s thinking....

@steven-harris "It's only just high".
Was that 0-0 in the second half? If it wasn't it was such a pile of shit it should have been.
Endless fucking reset scrums - all of which looked like a shambles when/if they were eventually completed.
Brumbies played like idiots when they had the two man advantage. Finally put together a decent attack just as Crotty had got back on the field.
4 points, but 80 minutes of my life I can't get back.

@act-crusader yeah the two Bitches coming on didn't help at all I reckon, Delany was very solid bar the in-goal dropsie and Hall was on fire.
Mataele was outstanding, is he eligible?

Just back from the game. Not one for the purists, the second half was dreadful. Only made bearable by the keystone cops Brumbies. Can't score against 13 on their 5m line, you deserve to lose.

Jordan Taufua had a massive game tonight. He has been consistently good all season. Shame he won't get capped; only because he lacks a few centimetres in height. He should get a hair style like Ardie's.
And what about Crockett. That's the second game he had to come off the bench very early in the first half and play over 70 minutes. Still got a good engine! If Perry is out again; Hanse should really ask Crockett to reconsider his retirement.
Although Crotty went down a few times, he survived 80 minutes. Again! He's a tougher bugger than you'd think!
Oh, and I really hope Mo'unga comes out firing if/when he returns next week. He hasn't played since round 2, so it wouldn't be fair to expect a perfect game, but we need him to get back to his old self quickly for the ABs' sake.
I don't think they'll call up Mataele for the Steinlager Series or Rugby Championship, but I hope they'll consider him for the EOYT if he continues to play like he's done all SR season. I think he's better than Lam, who's quite one-dimensional, and also still has a lot of developing to do at the age of 21; Mataele can only get better!
