Try Gayle Broughton. Nathan-Wong back on the field, so not injured.

    NZ leads 26 - 12

Great try from Shakira Baker. Pretty fast for a bigger player.

The Black Ferns 7s have smashed France in their last pool game. FT score: 38 - 7.

They're through to the Cup QF tomorrow. The surprise opponent will be China, who aren't even a core nation!

    K/o 1.30pm.

This also happened yesterday in Kitakyushu:

I should add that the Aussies are missing three of their star players (Charlotte Caslick, Sharni Williams and Ellia Green).

    Cup QF:
    NZ v China
    Fiji v Australia
    France v Russia
    Spain v England

Only three? How good are Spain usually?

On a downer after last week's final?

@booboo Spain is 7th on the 2017-18 table after only 2 tournaments this year. They finished 7th in Dubai and 6th in Sydney.

The last few years, Spain usually finished 9th or 10th on the table, each time the last of the core nations to keep their core nation status. So they're having a better season than previous years.

Edited to add that you can see the same development in XVs. They're a bit to the women's 6 Nations, what Georgia are to the men's.

Gayle Broughton's step is deadly again. Try just after the hooter. Nathan-Wong converts.

If I heard it correctly, NZ has played China four times before and has kept them scoreless in all these games.

    Australia just beat Fiji 31 - 7.

That means that NZ will play Australia in the semis. Kick-off 5.20pm.
