I think sevens should have a rule that a yellow carded player can come back into the field through their own in goal once the 2 minutes has elapsed. It is tough when the yellow card has elapsed but you end up a man down for four minutes because the ball stays in play.

Yes, it's pretty tough. If the AB7s manage to win their pool, they'll most likely play Australia or England in the SF. We can only meet Fiji or SA in the Final if we get that far.
Due to the smaller number of participating countries, it's different in the women's tournament. There the first two countries of each pool qualify for the medal-semis. It's best for the BFs to finish first, because then they'll avoid the Aussies in the SF, who will - no doubt - win their pool. They'd then probably play England in the semis.
