Otto is nuts!!
I like Bobby's character, similarly Happy & OP in that they just 'fit' whereas Jax, that big newbie, Juice and a couple others just dont quite pull it off.

Yeah Jax probably thinks he wants out, but he and Tara are both spiralling out of control.

Nero is a cool character![/spolier]
Tara morphing into Jenna! -
Watched the first episode of the first series of Black Mirror.

Royal princess is kidnapped and the kidnappers demand is focused on the PM of GB.........gripping viewing.

Now have this series to finish and series 2 is now showing on UK TV -

I was going to mention Black Mirror too DK - good innit?

The other two episodes of the six made (2 series of 3) that really made an impact on me are called "White Bear" and "The Entire History of You".

If you can see these shows, they're worth it. They give you that wondering/pondering feeling hours after watching them.

Agree DK, that Princess kidnapping story was gripping viewing. Uncomfortably realistic -
Keep meaning to get Banshee off my brother.

Also started Elementary (American Sherlock) and the Sherlock character is as amusing and infuriating as the recent BBC series and the Movies.

Still watching and enjoying Person of Interest and Arrow as well, also have the new JUstified to watch, and counting down GOT! -
Now Banshee has finished (and set up really well for Series 2). I have a gap in my viewing schedule. I hear 'Hunted' (also from Cinemax) is worth watching. Anyone else seen it?

Having a read around it looks like Banshee really started to connect in the second half of the season and with Cinemax's quite open policy to making episodes available freely, plus all of the ancillary stuff they have on their website, it looks like they have finally got a the show they were after. Ant Starr is going to come out of this really well I reckon. -
4 eps into Banshee, and am quite enjoying it, bit of a guilty pleasure, like most series you could pick holes if you chose to, but sometimes it is nice to just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Also enjoying The Following, although just how far reaching the 'following' is, is a little unbelievalble and pissed me off, particularly a week or 2 back, otherwise series is good with great acting.

The Red Wedding is coming!! -

"top of the lake" directed by Jane Campion is coming to our screens (UKTV) this week, has anyone seen it and is it worth watching?
Hadnt seen it before but gave first episode a go. Will continue on based on that. -
I watched it last night.

Was good but my concern is how they will manage to cram all the happenings in book 3 into 10 episodes and doing it justice.

If they can pull this off Mr Martin best pull finger for book 6! -

I thought I had read somewhere that the 2 books that comprise book 3 will be done over 2 seasons.

Yeah that 6th book is overdue already and I think there is talk of a 7th but at this rate the tv show will easily catch up. -
I hope so, given how much is in book 3...

I do wonder if they will follow books 4 & 5 though, or if they run the 2 books together over 2 series, would make for better viewing IMO. -
They are many layered but that's what makes them so riviting. Plus Martin's world isn't that far removed from our own - makes it all much more credible than eg Middle earth
