Black Caps v England Test series

@hydro11 Should be a pretty interesting final day.
England has to win to draw the series so they may have to give us carrot to chase.
Some of it depends on whether we can knock a few of them over tomorrow morning and with the new ball to stop them accelerating their run rate.
I'm guessing they'll hope to leave us around 400 in a bit more than four sessions. That's probably too many to win, but on this pitch we should be able to bat four sessions to save it - if the pitch doesn't start to play tricks. Stoneman and Vince weren't in much trouble most of the time.

Hard to see our top order shitting itself so badly two times in a row. I'm extremely confident we can hold on to win the series.
Time for another ‘McCullum/Watling special’ only one half of the act is gooone.

How long have you been following the Black Caps?
This team is far better than the shit one's of yesteryear.

100 too many I'd say, but stranger things have happened. New ball is going to be tough in overcast conditions.

So CDG is averaging about 27.4 with the ball, and 37.8 with the bat.
Not many tests, but if he can keep it up ...
Might keep him on...
If he still has those stats after 100 tests I might be tempted to slot him in my all time test team ahead of Cairnsy.

Jeet Raval must have only the one bat left to see him through to the end of the season. He is certainly taking no chances of damaging this one. Clearly preserving the life of the one he is using with a large number or deliberate playing inside the line of the ball, albeit not by much in most instances. Absolutely beautiful bowling by Broad and Anderson in the opening spell.
