I don't think that that tackle from Taniel Tupou was significantly less serious than Van Vuuren's tackle on Dmac. Van Vuuren got 3 weeks. Tupou a warning.

Nah. Van Vuuren's was much later with a swinging arm.

while i can understand your view, i personally see them as being very different. Despite my esteemed fellow posters' opinions below, i still am not convinced TT hits him in the head. It's also barely late enough to be called that.

Whereas Thuggy van Roidrage was waaay late, and his swinging arm definitely hit Mackenzie in the head.

I thought the Bulls guy should have been red carded, while TT should have been yellow carded (and the officials fucked up by not doing those things on the day). And that is a distinctive difference.

@mariner4life You Queenslanders always have each others backs. 😉

TBH, I'd need to see more camera angles rather then just the gif, but I thought that was a pretty harsh shoulder charge flirting with being too high.

flirting with is not actually doing (a distinction i am sticking too, everywhere)

That's why I'd like to see more camera angles. The gif made it look like it could possibly be high without actually showing that, another camera angle would confirm either way (and as I didn't see the match I don't know).

"Tongan Thor" somehow gets away with a borderline, high, shoulder charge on a warning.

Tahs v Blues in May has been moved from SFS to Brookvale (where Manly league play) due to A League final.

So now the game is being played in a part of town that is awful for most of Sydney to access in a woeful suburban ground - all grandstand seats allocated to members so its overpriced embankment for the rest.

    @kiwimurph

North Sydney oval would have been a better choice

My mate lives above Brookvale, so it'll be a decent day out for me, he'll cook up a BBQ, wander down and watch the game.

At least it wasn't moved to Homebush.

What has become of the Concord Oval where they played Tests for a while? My memory seems to recall it did not have floodlights so that would probably rule it out nowadays.

Haven't seen the first 35 minutes of the first half, but the half time score says it all:

    Sunwolves 17 - Waratahs 38

The Sunwolves don't belong in this competition.

Little had a 70m individual break to set up a try. Should be in the Blues squad..

@duluth Little has been great value for the Sunwolves, just a shame every time they have made a mistake, they have been punished,
Agree with your coms about not being in the Blues.

Geez, the Reds just got robbed. Ref rules knock-on by Reds player, but it was slapped backwards by Pockock. Try should have been awarded. Brumbies lead 24 - 18 with 20 minutes to go.
