    haha, liked this:

"I managed to bench press 40kg, six times. That was my max," Romano said. "And then he wanted me to do some chin-ups, and I was sort of hanging off the bar. He was like 'righto, you can start doing a chin-up' and I was like 'I have been trying for the last 10 seconds'.

But even better is one of the comments, which is surely trolling!

    Pom of Britain
Well, a pretty poor player by international standards. I know he struggles when he faces forward packs from the north as he can't handle their physicality. He is not very strong and his mobility is very poor. Not a strong scrummager either so he doesn't make a good lock. Wouldn't sniff the England team.

Im surprised they haven't come up with a rule where the Australian team's tries are worth 10 and the other team's are worth 2. Would work much better.

Trying to hoodwink AFL supporters. Well start to see scores reported as

    Crusaders 4 (tries) 3 (conversions) 46 defeated
    Force 2 (tries) 1 (conversion) 22

@stargazer Those two are good news.

Interesting that Ethan Blackadder is playing 6 for the Knights and Bedwell-Curtis is at 6 in the main team!

Still no sign of Will Jordan or Mitch Dunshea!

@chris-b Don't understand why Blackadder is not there ahead of Bedwell-Curtis. He was impressive at the Brisbane 10s and was outstanding for Ta$man.

@akan004 Yeah - it's a bit odd that someone is preferred for the squad, but not for the team.

Maybe they just think the team is a bit short-handed, so it's better to use the guy who's been there and done it, rather than a debutant.

Spanker is such a criminally underrated insult. I'm glad you're bringing it back @antipodean

... whether Whitelock and Crotty will be fit to play the Highlanders in Dunedin on Saturday night remains uncertain.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen declared the pair weren't fit enough to join his sessions, and now they must go through the usual protocols to prove they can play the Highlanders.

If the duo are ruled-out, it will mean the Crusaders will be without seven All Blacks, who have played almost 700 Super Rugby games between them, for the South Island derby.

At least loosehead prop Tim Perry should be available to make his first appearance of the season, possibly replacing Chris King on the bench. Loose forward Tom Sanders and lock Mitch Dunshea are also fit. Blindside flanker Pete Samu, who missed the Hurricanes match because of a sore shoulder, has yet to be cleared to play.

Crusaders Knights team to play the Highlanders Bravehearts (curtain raiser to Highlanders v Crusaders, kick-off 5pm at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin)
    1 Tim Perry
    2 Nathan Vella
    3 Blair Prinsep
    4 Mitchell Dunshea
    5 Hamish Dalzell
    6 Ethan Blackadder
    7 Tom Christie
    8 Tom Sanders
    9 Jack Stratton (C)
    10 Brett Cameron
    11 Leicester Faingaanuku
    12 Rameka Poihipi
    13 Braydon Ennor
    14 Ngane Punivai
    15 Caleb Makene

    Reserves
    16 Sam Moli
    17 Harry Allan
    18 Oliver McCowan
    19 Will Tucker
    20 Ben Morris
    21 Anty Burnett
    22 Harry Kirk
    23 Ray Nu'u
    24 Rupena Parkinson

Quite a few changes compared to last week's game. No Quinten Strange, which makes me think that - if he's not injured - they keep him as an unnamed reserve, just in case Sam Whitelock might not be able to play on Saturday (despite being named at 5). The good news is that Dunshea seems to be fit again.

They've also named the younger Faingaanuku instead of his brother.

It's been mentioned before, but what is the word on Will Jordon? Injured? Put aside while he gets his body up to the riggers of Super rugby? Surely someone on here has the gossip.

He's not a huge guy, bit of a project for the future I think. Run into him a bit around town and he's raring to go if given an opportunity
