Rebels vs. Reds

Poor handling from both sides, but it’s a pretty humid and hot in Melbs tonight. But the defence was schoolboy. Most of the fries were unopposed training run stuff - and that was both sides.
The YC should’ve been red IMO.

I saw the front on view and can see why. In the twitter version above, Higgers only appears for effectively a couple of frames.
In the angle from behind the Rebels player, he's got a few metres to run in, never even looked like lifting his left arm or lowering himself into contact. Philp wasn't falling at all. It was the sort of stupid idiocy we've come to expect from Higgers, though Queenslanders won't hear a word against him.

Yeah - first glance, I wasn't sure. But those other angles - you can see his eyes light up and his stupid mouth mumble "fuck yah, gonna kill this caarnt".
And then claiming he "didn't have time to wrap his arm around"... maaaate, you had pretty much reached your arm right round your own waist, in the hurry to get that shoulder out way in front of any other part of your body.

He's done three things wrong - he's gone high, with no arms and then neck-rolled the guy into the ground. How dumb do you have to be?
Fuck him.
I have no problem with him being red carded.
Edit: for some reason I hadn't seen those other angles - no question after those!
