I have a corporate general ticket for the final though - won't enjoy particularly watching England v Australia, so hope the Black Caps pull tonight's win off

We've won the toss and chosen to bat.

Everything else being equal (and Warner said he would have bowled) I would have asked Australia to set the target.

Maybe Kane thinks this is a safer way to protect our run rate advantage?

This has been a very naive bowling display so far from Australia. Surely they know that bowling back of a length is the option at Eden park. Not full or slightly full.

Looks like a pitch on which the bowlers are largely helpless, so maybe I should turn it off now and look up the result tomorrow.

Equals our highest T20 innings, but there have been six higher and Oz owns two of them.
