@mokey true, but the pitch is a bit dubious. This isn't a 330 pitch. 270 might be a good total.
Personally I don't mind seeing a pitch that isn't a total road every so often.
Agree, I think 270+ won't be an easy chase on a slow pitch. That's what we should be aiming for.
Santner and Astle will be tough to get away.
240 might be a good total judging by the variable bounce and slow nature. My concern is that this pitch is bad for us, but might suit the Pakistani team. On the other hand, they have to bat second.

Good innings from Rosco but we really needed him to finish the innings with some boundaries.
-
Great catch from Shadab, poor shot from Nicholls. Pressure on the lower order to get us a decent total now.
-
The slower ball is very effective on this pitch, doesn't come on and doesn't bounce. NZ bowlers take note.
-
This pitch would be perfectly suited to the likes of Chris Harris and Gavin Larsen. Slow and low.
-
Good work from Boult to get us to 257. Below par but defendable on a slow and low pitch.
-
Santner drops a simple chance. Yeah, can't really afford to drop those.
-
Beauty from Boult to get him the next ball, catch well taken by Rosco.

Hes having an outstanding series...surprised hes not sharing a Halberg Nomination alongside Roscoe..

Looks like we had this game in the bag once we went past 30

Ten overs into Pakistan's innings and they're 9/3. Jaysus.

Batting out for the draw me thinks

Not sure what the fuck Pakistan's strategy is. This is not the wicket you want to get massively behind on run rate. 11/3 in the 12th over is terrible.
Yup, they need more than a run a ball for 40 overs now. Not easy.
Now a run out... don't slide your bat in the rough...
