The AB 7s beat Australia 31 to nil.

Due to the weather, there's more than 2 hours delay of all games.

The Black Ferns 7s will play Australia in the women's Final and the All Blacks 7s will play Fiji in the men's Final. Not sure at what time, but I think it will be after 8.30pm, unless they scratch a few games (something I don't think they'll do).

Oh that's disappointing, looks like Sir Gordon still has an awful lot of work to do.

They have changed the schedule, apparently! Finals could begin soon!

Edit: Hmm, the order of games has changed, but not sure when those finals will be played now.

AB 7s' defence hasn't improved enough, it seems.

What has become very clear this weekend is that the ball handling of the Black Ferns 7s is so much better than that of the AB 7s. Is that coaching, or is that the quality of the players, or maybe both?

There are a number of schools that, despite having qualified, aren’t at the Condors with the travel and accommodation costs and the clash of dates with the Athletics nationals the main factors. That group includes boy’s qualifiers Mt Albert Grammar, Westlake Boys, Gisborne Boys, Whangarei Boys, and Wanganui Collegiate, along with, surprisingly, perennial contenders Feilding High in the girls.

Great results for Hamilton schools this year. Hamilton Boys won both the U15 boys and the Open Boys tournament, and Hamilton Girls won the Open Girls tournament. Kerikeri HS won the U15s girls tournament.

Good stuff. I'll have to watch some highlights. TBC's performance would be a surprise.
