I've seen Makene play a few times and don't think he's anything special, Bridge has been one of our best this year.
Makene was quite solid for the Mako$ last year, but he's a bit little. Interesting they're playing him at fullback and McKay on the wing. I would have expected them to be switched.
@Kiwimurph - Yeah - looks like a good chunk of the starting pack on the bench. Should help avoid the sort of points scoring reversal that led to the Shield loss.
