Brady has had a really rough night. He's only completed 44% of his passes and has no TDs.

KC have taken away the short pass and are asking him to beat them deep. It has worked a treat.

Gronk has been very quiet. Only has 2 catches.

Wow who would have seen that coming - what an excellent season opening game and result.

Everyone will now shit on the Pats and the Pats will reply a 12-game win streak.

Who's everyone picking for the Superbowl?

I'm going with the popular pick of Packers/Pats. Maybe Steelers or Raiders in the AFC but the NFC is looking pretty weak (apart from Green Bay).

I've got the Seahawks and Patriots in the Super Bowl.

My dark horse to make the Super Bowl are the Vikings.

Some interesting results in week 1 so far.

Bengals get shut out at home, Texans get smashed by the Jaguars and Rams demolish the Colts.

49ers got completely outplayed by Panthers. Not a surprise for 49ers fans though - it's going to be a long rebuild - no quick fix. Thankfully it looks like Reuben Foster's injury isn't too bad (and he was excellent before he got injured).

Never want to read too much into week 1 but you wonder if Rams are primed to be a contender. They've acquired a lot of talent in recent years but were held back by poor coaching. More evidence required but a great start.

Week 1 is always an aberration in the NFL (apart from the 49ers, they will be terrible but that's good). The Colts are a bad team with a pretty good QB who is currently injured so LA took advantage of that, but Todd Gurley struggled to move the pill for the Rams so you have to think he's a bust in the making.

I was impressed by Romo for his first time in the booth. I think he can be pretty good.

Apparently the 49ers won against the Colts according to Chuck...

On the 49ers, I thought Hyde looked good. Nothing special in terms of numbers, but his usage was limited due to all the short drives, but what he was asked to do, he excelled. Hoyer was pretty poor.

@Sneakdefreak The Colts have one of the worst rosters in the league without Luck. They should be the whipping boys this season while Luck is still out.

Gurley is seriously looking like Trent Richardson 2.0

In the Raiders vs Titans game, Adoree Jackson did this.

    I mean...geez.

It sure beats Antonio Brown's hilarious attempt to hurdle the punter a few years ago.

And he does. The Bengals running game is a complete mess. They have three starters but don't know how to use them properly.

Broncos announce themselves as legit contenders by destroying the Cowboys. They completely stopped the Cowboys run game and dictated the contest. Holding Zeke to 8 yards is a statement.

49ers meanwhile show improvement almost beating the Seahawks in Seattle. Certainly some positive signs on defense and the run game. The passing offense is woeful but should improve as their schedule gets easier over the next few weeks.

@KiwiMurph The Broncos will be a threat - have a running game, still have a defence and their QB is average but still a safe pair of hands.

49ers are showing improvements but you wonder when they'll drop Hoyer and see what CJ Beathard can do. I'm guessing by the sixth game Beathard will be the starter.

Broncos are a threat, but damn they will do well to win their division.. Raiders and Chiefs are also contenders..

@mimic I can see Raiders and Broncos making it out of that division. I always feel that the KC Chiefs start hot and fade near the end of the regular season.

@mimic Shan's offense comes to life! Think the short week for both teams meant both defenses suffered and thus both offenses were able to open it up. Really great game to watch.

Sucks to lose but 49ers showed some real heart and you can see the potential of the Shan offense. 49ers just don't have enough talent right now - that will take another year or two.

Rams are a talented bunch who were undercoached before this new staff - I think they have a legitimate shot at the NFC West title.

How we should expect the 49ers this season. Fairly good offence and a pretty poor defence. Really wish I had started Garcon and Gurley in my fantasy teams....

Converts on 3rd and 12 and 3rd and 18 in that final drive..
    5 TD passes..
