I've got this fucking flu so fell asleep with swannies winning handily. Heck of a game eh? Must have been wetter than it looked judging by the number of fumbles

Was a good game Nick. Enjoyed it ... but not the result

Everything, fucking EVERYTHING, fell for the Swans in the first qtr. Crows couldn't catch a fucking cold.

Thought at 4 goals down we're screwed. Got out to 5 ...

To come back and lead was awesome.

But jeez we missed some chances to put you bastards away. Hit the post at least twice. Tex missed a sitter. 2 or 3 other chances just missed

    But no use whinging ...

    Great goal by Buddy

@kiwiinmelb We made the error of leading the ladies get the tickets. We needed 8 although my mate can get 5 as a member tomorrow. I checked a flurry of facebook group messages that went like:
'I've got some, which category should we get?'
    'Get category 5'
'ok I will let those go'
    'oh no, I can't get 8 anymore'
'Hey I can, is this area ok?'
'oh wait no its gone now'
'where should we sit?, I have no idea which seats to select!'
'oh, I can't get 8 seats now, so stressful'
'I can get 6!, hangon I'll let them go and see if I can get 8 again'
    'huh can't get any now..weird!'

At this point I completely lost my shit, jumped straight on and grabbed 3 single tickets and a pair, figure I can offload onto viagogo if people are too hung up about sitting alone.

    Lesson learned.

Good guys get a week off and a home prelim.

Made it to 3QT and we were cruising it.

Hopefully Rory Sloane comes back (didn't think recovery from appendectomy would be that quick but given they were hopeful for last night two weeks he should be killing it).

A sliver of nearly a thought that maybe we can make the GF if we get lucky ...

Earlier on Wednesday, Crows coach Don Pyke was far from committed to the concept of playing Sloane, now eight days after the All-Australian midfielder had appendix surgery.

However, about 5pm on Wednesday Sloane was ruled out on medical advice```

I was there , what an atmosphere,

2 massive monkeys of their backs ,

    Hadn't won a final since 2001 , and against Geelong had a 15 game losing streak .,

BOOM! What a game. Boy did I pick a winning team to support in my first year in Oz. Great atmosphere, sat next to an old bloke who saw them last win in 1980. Had a beer with my die-hard Richmond supporter mate afterwards. Couldn't wipe the grin off his face awesome to see and glad I was fortunate enough to be a part of it.

I saw them win in 1980 ( on a tv) as a kid on holidays to australia ,knew zero about the game , became a supporter that day
