Clearly you need some lessons from Jegga - we're only just learning this now????
Oddly enough, to a medium younger generation he's probably more well known as an educator than an AB. I'd certainly heard of him in that context before knowing he was an AB.

@Nepia yeah his book is more about leadership and teaching than rugby . My favourite quote in there is not from him but from a Samoan guy who's name escapes me but was fairly long and full of apostrophes and the first Samoan head boy at his college .
John Graham taught me everything I need to know about leadership.
I taught him how to pronounce my surname. -

Was way back in the 90s. Got tickets to the stand at Seddon Park for a day at a test from a client. One session Sir John sat next to me. He was manager of the team at the time. We shared the odd comment as you do watching cricket. I recall him suggesting Nathan Astle may struggle to become a test match batsman.
Second time I have mentioned this this week after @NZRUGBYQUIZZES quiz on the Steinlager Salver.

He was a teacher at CBHS in the 70's and coach of the first XV. We played them at Straven Rd in bitterly cold southerly rain. The ref blew his whistle for both teams to come out of the sheds. We trotted out to stand in the freezing cold while JG kept the Boy's High team inside for another 5 mins. They beat us 6-3.
I had him on (good naturedly) about it at the 25 year reunion of the 2 teams. -
