If One News is right, Waisake Naholo's younger brother Kini has signed with Taranaki for 2018.

Signed with Taranaki next year does Kini Naholo ...

Could Naholo 2.0 be the next sibling success in the black jersey?

Full interview on One News, TV1 tonight.

Well the good news is Auckland have got a young halfback Milo-Harris in the mix and a young 10 Otu Mausia (as mentioned by @Steven-Harris ) in this squad. That's at least something to go alongside the mediocrity (Jono Hickey, Elkington-Macdonald).

Interesting that neither Pierce nor Lindenmuth were named. I wouldn't trust Auckland Rugby to mention all players who are being rested though.

Anyone know much about the two Rifles props?

I saw an article saying they were close to selection last year but existing contracts meant there was no room

Also, I'm kind of surprised that neither fullback from the club final was picked. Both were standouts.

Rodrigo Costa is one the Costa brothers from Rosmini, and plays 10 for Eden. Has been in the North Harbour squad.

Broc Hooper is a 10 and 15 (St Kents) who played for NZ Schools, and has been through the Canterbury system.

Both Hooper and Costa played for Auckland B last year.

@booboo Well, he's only listed as unavailable for that tour, so he may wind up in the B's.
