Samoa v Wales
-
Penalty misses from both sides as the game gets bogged down
Samoa 17 - 14 Wales
66 mins gone -
Tusi Pisi you idiot.
-
Aerial ping pong interspersed with some beautiful tactical kicking from Sam Davies resultsbin a 5m scrum for Wales in front of the Samoan sticks.
Scrappy and directionless.
Zero dynamism.
Playing for the penalty / drop kick.
And all of a sudden, patience pays off.
Slick handling puts Steff Evans over in the corner for his second try.
Samoa 17 - 19 Wales
75 mins gone -
Tremendous defence and counter rucking from Wales stops Samoa on the Wales 22.
2 mins to go.
-
The ref just missed a blaytant offside from a Wales player there. Awful reffing not that Samoa deserve to win.
-
That one decision aside, the ref had a stormer IMHO.
The other defender retreating may have clouded his judgement.
Hands on the ball at the ruck needs to be addressed.
Ball in? Ball out?
Wales did just enough to deserve that win.
Plenty of mettle shown from a very inexperienced Wales side.
Two wins on tour. We'll take that.
Some boys showing they're willing and able to make the step up.

I only saw the last 14 minutes, and agree he was very good (apart from that last thing), I liked his call after the Welsh counter ruck which resulted in a scrum for them. It was a messy situation he got exactly right with the ball bouncing forward from Fotuali'i to the Samoan player on the ground.

Nice touch by Wales. I'm starting to warm towards them.
