Compared to recent NZ U20s sides, this looks quite a bit better. There are a number of standouts, but lovely pass on the 9. It's also nice to see some muscular & athletic forwards (2, 4, 8 )

Here's hoping the NZU20s don't let England come back. No repeat of the semi, please!

Will this mean Craig Philpott being lured away by a lucrative overseas coaching contract? 🚴🏼♂ 🚴🏼♂

Enari played a few games for the Cantabs last year and looked okay. Has definitely got fitter in the past 6-9 months.

Try Josh McKay! Nothing wrong with that one: 45-7 NZ

Phew, anywhere will do, as long as it is year round full time. God can you imagine what him and Hammett could do.

Perofeta misses the conversion. Not a great boot, but no damage done.

Wow on this evidence, this U20 side would shred the Maori side that ran out on Saturday...some bloody good players coming through

The English defence has been a bit optional at times. With so much easy metres it's hard to read too much into it. We see how these players develop when they have less space and time.

@Billy-Tell True, but their work rate is about 100 times that of the MABs.

The England players just seem to lie all over the ball at every ruck - not being picked up

Good line speed by our defence has caused England real problems.

Try England (Mitchell). Not converted: 45-12 NZ after 53 minutes.

And the YC gives rise to a back-peddling scrum and inevitable try..

New Zealand clearly decided among themselves at half time that 45 points was enough.

Harsh YC. Simply late, not a shoulder charge. You can see his left arm is up.
