At this level you need accuracy. All the small mistakes give away territory.

Fuck the ABs better have a plan for getting some decent ball and keeping it away from the Lions pack

Agree with TJ. The Lions ball control has been unbelievably good in wet conditions. Long term forecast for next Saturday is for a wet night as well.

I expect catching the ball will go a long way to achieving that

@akan004 a long range weather forecast for Auckland is pretty pointless. If you dont like the weather just wait half an hour.

Maori AB's have had 7% territory in the second half. SEVEN.

Sky says 13% but ESPN says just 7%.

What surprises me most is that the coaches waited so long to make changes. I'd have taken Dmac off much sooner (or make the moves I suggested earlier).

Two tennets of rugby shone through today

1 The ball will always travel faster than the man
On the plus side, the Lions have kicked deep and chased well.
Unfortunately we can't put men in space by letting the ball do the work

2 You can't play without the ball
    Lions have been excellent

    Exactly.

Sure the Lions have played relatively error free, strangling rugby, it's nothing the ABs can't deal with.
The Maori having great big tits for hands doesn't make the Lions any more of a threat than they were before this game.
