I think this will be a yawn feast. Massive plodding forwards just bashing it up at 2 mile an hour. These 2 teams used to have some fantastic backs.

SARU so desperate for sponsorship, they accepted a deal with MTN - thereby damaging their relationship with long time Super Rugby sponsor Vodacom, who is a direct rival to MTN.

At least the Jersey looks amazing though:

SARU must be desperate for cash to allow that yellow blob. Why it isn't inverted with the letters MTN in yellow god only knows.

French are without their players from the T14 final, and if the boks manage to limp past the tired and depleted frogs, there will be a painful few more months of rugby articles about Bok Rugby's "New Dawn" and Alastair's "Road to Redemption".

..Until the Rugby Championship results send them scrambling again, that is.

Geez that Malcolm Marx looks a good player. Boks look like they might have turned a corner, bit worried about how this team can build through the season.

Watched most until I feel asleep (from alcohol ....not the game). The Boks looked really good. Malcolm Marx looked an absolute beast.

Hopefully they are turning it around it would be a disaster for southern hemisphere rugby if SA has prolonged decline like Wales did in the late 80's and 90's
