@Stockcar86 Tamati has come a long way in a year, was in the Northland Taniwha squad last year, after only a year out of Kaitaia College, looked a little out of his depth at Mitre 10 level, but his improvement in the last year has been impressive.

Can anyone explain to me how the CRFU let Will Jordan sign with Ta$man?

Because it's good to care about your little brother every now and a gain....

Might be a loan type arrangement, he's been playing club rugby down here

@SammyC I think we've signed him for two years.

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/provincial/89729835/tasman-Mako$-snap-up-former-canterbury-schoolboy-star-will-jordan

Apparently he's got aspirations of becoming smarter, better-looking and acquiring some dress sense. All of which made coming to Nelson a no-brainer. 🙂

I think that's a good move from both unions (providing of course he wants to play for the crusaders)

We have a lot of exciting young outside backs lining up to make the Canterbury squad in the next couple of years. Would be nice to hold onto them.

@SammyC Mako$ should have a reasonable backline this year despite losing Banks, Fonotia and Lowe.

Guyton, Hunt, Havili, Nankivell, Lolohea, Faingaanuku, Jordan should be reasonable though youthful.

Dalton Papali'i is injured, so was not considered for this match, while an ACL injury to prop Ryan Coxon sees him join fellow bookend Tim Farrell in being invalided out of the tournament. A replacement is to be confirmed.

Jacob Pierce hadn't played yet? He in the squad isn't he? Although there seems to be 3 other locks.

@Rapido I have only watched the game vs Scotland and Pierce came off the bench in that game. He was a late replacement for the sick Caird.

The Italians are playing well. Unlucky not to convert some of their chances into points, but they're at least creating opportunities to score. That's more than the Scots at the moment.

Great game this. Italians deserve it more, but Scots still one point ahead with 8 minutes to go.

The Italians were just lacking a bit of belief. Still its their best U20 side since they've been in the competition.

The baby blacks should be looking to run up a big score on Ireland, as Ireland are sending out the reserves.

First the haka and then Queen's 'We will rock you'. That would bring my aggro levels up haha.

Ref not trusting his AR, wasting time by going to the TMO, ending up with the same decision.
