If you didn't want to know the England-Samoa score yet, I'm sorry.

England smashed Samoa 74 to 17.

Bit of a costly victory in the end though. Already missing five players away with the senior tour to Argentina and added three injuries here to backs (one in warm up and two in the game). Ended up playing the last 15 minutes with 14 men.

Not a bad start to this France/Baby Boks match.

YC against Baby Boks after a good break by the French halfback.

Is that the all-Ireland development program kicking in? Damn Saffa and Kiwi kids that won't move over to the Emerald Isle 😉

Was an exciting finish. Italians have away a poor penalty at the death and Ireland missed the kick for Italy to claim the win.

That France game also went to the wire with the Baby Boks claiming what looked a very unlikely draw.

Taking your post inappropriately seriously. All it takes is the occasional good crop to come through to serve you well for 10 years at senior level.

Looked like Ireland had a few good ones last year.

I'd liken it NZ cricket having an awesome mini-generation at the 2008 junior cricket World Cup. 10 years later they're all a core part of what has been, by our standards, one of our best periods.

@mimic is def Tua at 13 there, so musta been a late change as he wasnt in starting line up.

@taniwharugby They also put a graphic up of the team right before kickoff and Tua was 13.

No wonder scrums turn to shit. Look at the set up of the Scots prop, feet planted turning in and hips already set on an angled drive. Right in front of the ref.

Ireland should have had a good crop this year too but its been a case of murphys law for the new coaching team. They could easily have beaten England in the 6 nations when both teams had most of their best players available.
The Italians have a few good players so maybe they're turning a corner though I don't think the baby blacks will have too much troublle putting them away..
