Aki Seiuli is bloody impressive in the loose.
Thats fourth on my list of priorities, after scruming, lifting and cleaning out rucks but still good to see

Another great try, this time from Hunt. Full credit to Thompson though. Great run.
Thompson is better than the Barracuda at the moment.

Force injury list is awful
-
@Mattasaurus Good. Needs some game time before the Liions

Ahh fucken well done 'landers
fresher players pulled it out tonight and what can often be a display of lethargy on the way home (eh Crusaders of years gone by?) was anything but with all players putting on deceptive displays in a pretty slippery wet game.
Excellent performance
That openside reminded me that pretty much whatever club rugby you played in NZ there were so many really good opensides in all manner of teams - hard, big motors, faster than they looked, loved tackling, and tireless throughout the game with nary a complaint even though they took some treatment. A real trait of NZ rugby to have an, often nondescript, but gun number 7
Ref was good too. Seemed to create a pretty conducive atmosphere and never had to stamp any authority, just went about his day logically.
Time to guard against fatigue now for this team. Due to the tough start and error-less competition from canes, chiefs and saders the Highlanders have put on an undefeated run that later in the season would be the bomb. Out of necessity it's come a bit too early, ideally.
Waratahs then Crusaders before the bye - ouch
