So as a few may remember I decided to switch NBA allegiances as my Warriors had become too good/hard to support.

I made the call to support the Milwaukee Bucks, and I'm pretty happy with that decision right now, as they steamrolled the Raptors in Toronto to go 1-0 up in the series.

Still a long way to go, but if Giannis keeps his form up then anything is possible...

Westbrook drops a 51-point triple double,

and the Thunder still drop the 2nd game of their series with the Rockets

@mariner4life Yeah that will happen when you jack up 43 shots. But he got his triple-double so it's fine....

Let's see if OKC can do something at home. Adams hasn't really fired yet, which is disappointing.

He's getting a bit of stick for it on ESPN too. The big contract comes with bigger expectations

So the eventual NBA finalists Golden State and the Cavs have breezed through unbeaten and are waiting on their respective opponents for the conference finals.

Spurs v Rockets is awesome, SA in front by a game, but no Parker for the first time since the 1800s, and Leonard hurt at the end of the last. Both teams have nicked one the road. Patty Mills now a starter, and drained 20 yesterday.

The Celtics and the Wizards are winning at home, so Boston also up 3-2.

What about the block by Manu. Harden made a great move to get what looked an open shot, but the old man came up with the block.

Very risky play by Manu, but he had a big time game with Parker out and Leonard not 100%.

More amazing is that Manu wasnt called for a foul for looking at Harden ....

Leanard out for this morning. Surely the Spurs can't win without both him and Parker? Patty mills to score 35 and have the Aus media coming in their pants.

They will play hard and save Leonard for a possible game 7 in SA

Spurs just arent letting him get those cheap fouls and he has gone to pieces. I dont like his play style, so I am very pleased.
Made the MVP narrative change as well.. SPurs winning without Kawhai, Harden folding.. and Westbrook rolled in first round.

MVP award is a regular season award only, playoffs have no bearing, but yes perhaps what it does is highlight the lack of importance of the award, or at least how they seem to judge it by giving it to the biggest regular season stat monster.

Great to see LA come up with a big game, away from home, best player out and he goes for a big double double. He's been criticised of having a bit of a soft underbelly when the pressure hits the fan, but he was huge today.

Rockets really missed Nene. A hardened vet who when they play their small ball is a genuine scoring threat, excellent defender and genuine tough guy.

Harden had a shocker. Spurs did a great job and didn't give away any cheap fouls that he often draws. Like Baron I'm not a fan either when he does all that crap. He's excellent when just going to the basket but all that holding the ball up high and drawing ridiculous fouls that are bail outs for plainly bad offence.

Mike D'Antoni has had a frustrating year and that frustration shows during games.

I'm sick of Mark Jackson commentating as well. But Unlike rugby where I just mute, I'm a big fan of Van Gundy commentating. It would be great if we had Van Gundy Breen and Reggie Miller for the Warriors and Spurs series.

I'd much rather be finals MVP

Game 4 is the only time that the Rockets have beaten the Spurs at home this season.

The Spurs under Pop have always been about the team rather than individuals, even if they are named Leonard and Parker.
