Geez, didn't see what happened but there was a double yellow card for the Rebels, who are now playing with 13 men. It has already cost them a try to the ponies but are still leading 10 to 5.
Rebels 6 probably lucky not to get a red after an attempted knee to the head of a Brumbies player on all fours that slightly connected but with the shin rather than knee. The Rebels 6 and 7 had just been done for a tip tackle which the 7 got the other YC for.

#cutthebrumbies
Seriously. Three yellow cards and they still beat the Brumbies.
Seems giving a hiding to the Reds (who almost managed to lose against the Kings) gave them a false self-perception of where they lay in the order of things.
-
Aussie comp is pretty even, thier shittest team beats thier least shittest team!
-
So the Lions went to Capetown and beat the Stormers 29-16 and the Bulls remembered they like being home and beat the Jaguares 26-13.

One of things is not like the others....this table for once, looks about right aside from one glaring anomoly.
-
@taniwharugby Don't know where you got those tables from, but the Highlanders should sit below the Jaguares and drop out of the Wild Card position in favour of the Jaguares.
If conference leaders were not automatic home quarter finalists, the Brumbies would drop out of the top 8 and sit between the Highlanders and the Blues, which would give the Highlanders the last Wild Card spot.

@taniwharugby Ah, yes, I've seen mistakes in their tables before. Usually corrected some time later.
-
@Stargazer Isn't there only 1 WC spot available from Africa? So those WC spots are correct - but another way in that the current system is a little confusing, and seems unfair (although I think most of it makes sense in a compromise sort of way).

@Unco they should gift thier home semi to a real rugby team, ie one with more points
The Jaguares?
