CDG in on the false hope act too.
    Elgar gooooone.

5/2, looking like a great toss to lose (although I'm sure Kane would have bowled anyway)

We should adopt the old Indian position and refuse to play with DRS.

What are these morons doing with the DRS reviews? We've just reviewed a delivery for "LBW" that hit the bat and not the pad...

No wonder the Black Caps top order can't bat for a day if they see the ball that badly.

Considering the shit weather forecasted for the next wee while, They need to get in there fast with wickets. Humidity could make the ball do all sorts of weird shit. Trent...Trent...wish you were here...

HCC have been going about marketing all wrong. Not 'where it's happening' but 'where weird shit is happening'

Go for the trifecta "Hamilton: where more weird shit than you'd expect is happening"

Appears like it'll be a test disrupted by weather.

While not as bleak as the Richard De Groen days, I hold a realistic no hope for a win here. No miracle performances this time, we're lacking too many of our best players to beat these South Africans.

Inspirational choice of player! Grubby de Groen played in a winning test against South Africa IN South Africa . . .

@Donsteppa True that. Hamilton have had some truly fucked up tourist catchphrases. To think, someone came up with 'more than you expect' and a whole bunch of people went YEAH. THAT'S IT!! I still haven't been able to bleach my mind of the tv ad of the most cringeworthy nature, you remember the one with some douchebags walking along the wing of a grounded plane. A woman sang the song. Something about Hamilton is moving. (Maybe it was moooo-ving and cleverer than I thought.)

How did the rest of that tour work out?

A lot of bad PR for NZ Cricket - heaven forbid! Luckily Fleming was never selected again.

Howarth, Rutherford and Morrison all had their reputations destroyed on that tour
