Already facing legal action from former player James McManus, the Knights allowed fullback Brendan Elliot to play on after being struck in the head by a swinging arm in the 28th minute.

Elliot was then floored again in the 62nd minute after a tackle, this time resulting in him limping from the field.

The scenes come as the NRL faces immense criticism for their alleged disregard for their treatment of player concussions.

    Error 404

Geeeezus, have you seen watched that video? Can't believe they left Elliott on the field! Also wonder whether the players that tackled him have been cited for foul play.

Just regarding the Tigers, it appears part of Taylor's issue (well, one of many) was that none of the so-called "big 4" were willing to sign while Taylor was the coach (or, in reality, there was so much conjecture about the coach's future)

Can someone explain to me why they are called a "big 4"? In reality they have a good prop, a great fullback, and two halves that, despite doing absolutely fuck all, seem to think they are worth a shit ton of money. Seriously, those halves are leading the charmed life. They have never shown that they have any more than potential, and yet any failures were blamed on Farah, and once he was moved on, the coach. How about playing good for a few weeks in a row (a season might be nice) before holding a club to ransom? Looks a lot like their manager (same guy for all 4) is holding them up as a package deal.

The Tigers are the Sydney Warriors (except they won a fucking comp).

@mariner4life Because it's all relative I guess, those are the big 4 for that club.

I actually enjoyed watching 360 and Matty Johns last night to see all the scuttle butt.

yea, i missed them but i bet there was some interesting comments.

I liked Tallis getting up DCE for being shit at Manly (only to have them get a big win), it seems like there might be a shift in the league media, and the players might start getting some deserved heat, rather than just blaming coaches.

I get what you are saying Nepia, but if i was the Tigers, i wouldn't let those halves dictate my club. If they want huge money, prove you're worth it, or test the market. But then, the Tigers haven't made a rational decision in a decade

Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks should be under the pump big-time, especially considering they chose Moses over Te Maire Martin (who is doing great at the Panthers).

Foran has been given the No 22 jersey and may not be included in the team when the final 17 is named an hour before kickoff.

But definitely back this weekend is Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, who suffered from concussion in the round two game against the Storm, and it means with Issac Luke at hooker, the team will boast the most formidable spine in the NRL.

@Sneakdefreak risky signing a power forward until he's 33. Great for Jason though.

    unusual signing ,

The swans did something similar with Buddy Franklin , fist time I had heard of it ,

I probably could understand it more for a gun playmaker type , a young JT or a young Cam Smith ,

just hope for their sake , it doesnt come back and bite them

@kiwiinmelb Personally hope Taumalolo does great but I do hope it comes back to bite the Cowboys on the backside (in salary cap terms).

So clearly his agents were using the Warriors to push up his price.

Hopefully he has a contract that allows the $$ they pay him to increase over the years.

@mariner4life Yeah, they really got stuck into everyone involved. One journo got stuck into the board, a few of the ex Tigers (Ben Elias was one) players got stuck into the board, a couple got stuck in to Moses and the other kid, then one of the journos who was getting stuck into the board got stuck into Benny Elias for defending the players, it was all over the show. Ikin displayed common sense - I quite like him on the show. Kent was just Kent. I've just read his SBW book and his bitterness and bullshit towards rugby in it has meant I find it hard to take him seriously at all these days.

But all in all it was a good night of TV (which I don't watch often).

I hate the Roosters so this is said through gritted teeth but...

The Roosters deserve to be discussed with the Raiders as the best teams to watch in the comp. They score a heap of highlight reel tries often from far out. Their attack is varied and not reliant on pressure and kicks for points. On defense the likes of Napa are hard as fuck and love to whack blokes.

They're tearing up the Bunnies, who are hampered by their rubbish Hooker
