2 Tries to Bryn Hall. He is so much better than the useless Drummond.
I'm no fan of Drummond but he did brilliantly to score the first try. Hall...Well he ran a few metres.
Thought Hall injected some speed and urgency - some of which coincided with people actually catching the ball.
Reds seemed to run out of gas, which they shouldn't have on their own track really.
Thought Ioane had a really good game first up for us. Lots of determination and urgency throughout.
Not sure about Taufua's "punch". Looked more like he was reaching across to grab Whatsisface's jersey (Simmons?) and clipped him on the nose. But, it's dumb to get involved in that sort of retaliatory shit, so think on it Jordan.
Not looking forward to reading the injury count on Monday. All three who left the field looked serious and like a month on the sideline.

Fuck what a shitfight.
Losing Dagg was the reason we didn't put 60 on them, Tamanivalu was pretty much our only weapon and we were fucked 20 in. Referee was from Play School.
The Reds played their little shit up their nose-riddled NRL-reject bleached asses off, were pretty tinny for most of it, but ran out of luck at the end of it.
Goodhue, Crotty, the new 7, Whitelock, Brynn Hall.

@antipodean Was he? I never saw that.
In any case, I wasn't impressed with the earlier melee and Moody and Taufua's pushes in the face/head, so I've got not much sympathy for Jordan regardless. Hopefully, he's been given his full punishment on the field. We're going to be short enough of players next week.

@Chris-B. I thought he reacted in kind. Simmons was punching him in the chest while holding his jersey.
Was thinking the same thing. I usually don't record games, so will have to wait for the replay (or a video on YT) to check.

It's funny, last week when Drummond came on for Hall, it was Mitch that looked better and sped things up. This week I thought Hall came on and did some good things and helped lift the tempo when needed.
It goes to show that neither are top drawer halfbacks and probably are better in that bench role playing shorter spurts than running the show for a good 60-65 minutes.
I must say I wasn't that confident with Hunt lining up for that final kick, but well done that man for sealing the win.

Nor me - I even said, "50-50 at best" - but, with a pressure kick for three competition points, he did very well.
If the Reds had been even slightly more clinical in the first half they would have bolted to an unassailable lead. Lucky that banana kick of Quade's bucked the trend and was inch perfect....for the defence! In fact, that upright had one of the better games for the Crusaders!

This thread was hilarious to read , well done to all involved in it.
Indeed. But it does resemble the same trajectory of most game threads on the Fern.
Over confidence followed by abuse towards certain own players then make fun of opppsition.
