funny listening on the radio, they were saying that the people on the embankment that were evacuated, to evacuate had to walk nearer to the building that was possibly on fire and stand nearer than they were on the embankment.
THen when play resumed in low light, the BCs were walking around accidentally bumping into one another...

@mariner4life I'd put a gif up of the worlds smallest violin up, but it would probably get deleted ...

I couldn't help but notice Quinton de Kock batting in the middle order for the test team and opening for the ODI team
Shit yeah, if only we had a positive front-foot talented batsmen who carved up opening for our ODI side, he'd be a perfect test 5!

It's probably that test average of 50 that gets him the nod more than his ODI game... tho' if we have an ODI opener capable of averging 50 in tests I'd be happy to see him called up.
And there's the little matter of him also keeping wicket.
So all Guppy has to do to mirror De Koch as you want, is get his test average up to 50 & become a test match wicketkeeper. And not be injured.

Commentators were making an interesting point yesterday that there's only two NZ players ever (presumably having played x number of games) who have first class batting averages over 50.
One of whom is Martin Crowe.
The other is available for selection and has played one test, but doesn't appear to be in the frame.
