Kane Williamson. Second name down on an all time Black Caps test XI since right now.

    Straight after Jeets?

That's actually very good Virg 🙂

Seriously though. Who is the first name down? Crowe or Hadlee?

Fucks sake Hooroo....it doesnt matter if its Jeff or Martin provided Paddles is there

Very happy to see Kane get his hundred. Concerned about Taylor's injury.

Pissed off that Latham and Neesham have failed with the bat yet again. Nicholls wasn't much better.

Cricinfo mentioned earlier that Roscoe has been spotted in the batting nets, guess that's promising.

Forget about being in the batting nets, if he's any chance he should be doing laps of the stadium to see if he can run.

Hari: "Watling is probably one of the most underrated cricketers (even by NZ standards). He is easily their best batsman after KW and has got a lot of heart."

I'm a big fan of Watling but god that's stupid.

Obviously in Hari land if you hurt your leg it's as if you never existed.

Rabada to Williamson, FOUR, as good as they come. Can pay to watch just that shot and walk out. Brings his bat down in a lovely little arc to ease that past the bowler. Super stuff

    It's so easy to picture

We really need Santner to score some runs here, first innings lead critical.

Mark Geenty on twitter: Extraordinary scenes on the hill at Uni Oval. Evictions aplenty. Anyone who responds to chants of "scull, scull" is being turfed.

Morkel seems to be having fun with the crowd. Someone threw him a bottle of water. He downed it in one go as everyone around him cheered.

    Niiiiiice!

    Fun police at work. Tossers

Hopefully we'll see an explosive little (or big) cameo from Boult to get us a bit of a lead.

@Hooroo saw this posted on FB earlier today:

Hey Veitchy, big fan of a bit of fun at the cricket but the boys went over the top yesterday. Came in too hot, abused security, told Rabada that he "was only in the team because of the quota", and were visibly steamed. The beers per person were reduced down to 2 as a direct result halfway through the middle session, and the atmosphere actually improved after tea when large numbers were ushered out of the ground. The place is like Fort Knox today, with people who "look" like students being sent through a separate gate, screened for intox, and waved with a metal detector. I would not be surprised if that was a direct result of the boys' behaviour.
