Cowboys and Aliens - Absolutely off the chart . Exactly the right mix of Action, cool lines, annoying people getting blown up and even a touching moment or two. Bond and Solo/Jones are excellent ( well not Oscar excellent but action movie excellent ) and for a movie with a completely ridiculous title it just works brilliantly. <br />

I want to see this. Do they say "Get on your Spaceship and get outa town!" ?<br />
<br />
I watched an oldie the other day that I hadn't seen in years and still really enjoyed it. Quadrophenia. Leslie Ash (the lusted neighbour from Men Behaving Badly) was pretty hot. Sting is perfectly cast as a cool moron, mind you I still hate seeing his scooter smash on the rocks at the end. -
This will sound odd, but go see Bridesmaids. Take the missus. We haven't laughed that hard in ages. It is quite wrong at points though - not for the easily offended...
<br />

Wife said this was very good too, said I'd like it, kinda in the Hangover mold, but better in some ways she said? -
The Last Starfighter is on Prime right now! Love the theme music.....such a rip off of Star Wars..... <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
Just saw the last Harry Potter film . Thought it was excellent and stayed very close to the book . Special effects and CGI were very good as well . Probably the best of the Harry Potter movies . 8/10
<br />
<br />
Have never seen a Harry Potter movie because for some reason the Daniel Radcliffe irritates me immensely, if you feel the same way check out a flick called My Boy Jack .It's a great story , well acted and Daniel Radcliffe gets machine gunned to death .<br />
<br />
Saw the planet of the apes movie the other night, wasn't expecting much after the turd of a film with Wahlberg in it but it was actually bloody good.8/10 Anthny Serkis must get sick of acting in movies and no one seeing his face. -

I just hope Piri Weepu is getting plenty of royalties from that one as they seem to be using him to model their CGI characters on. -

I only remember the start and end of The Last StarFighter so this was really the first I have seen (or remember) the film as a whole.<br />
Really fun film to watch and I love the cheesy music and special effects. <br />
It would also be one of the few 80s film that I think could be made into a good sequel/remake.<br />

Great 80's childhood movie mate, complete with some awesome (for their time) computer effects. -
Super 8 - well you could tell it was a JJ Abrahms film, shades of Cloverfield, but better, still not great, but decent enough.<br />
<br />
Limitless - enjoyed this, Bradley Cooper, Abby Cornish, Robert De Niro; Cooper is a wannabe writer, who meets up with his ex-brother-in-law who offers him a 'trial' drug, all of a sudden, he writes a book, takes on the stock market in a recession, nice wee twist at the end. -
Just watched No Strings Attached with Mrs Jack . Predictable as hell , though was still quite funny in places and very easy to watch . 7/10

Yeah all well and good but look how shithouse they look compared to Star Wars (1977). Call me biased but I reckon they hold up pretty well even by todays standards. <br />
<br />
Last Starfighter ( yes I watched it too ) was good fun to watch again once I got over my wife laughing at me. I have quite happy memories of watching it in the 80's with my Grandfather. -
Rango. Weird but brilliant. Not really a kids movies but my kids still enjoyed it. 9/10
<br />
<br />
Hired it out for the kids two weeks ago on Blu-Ray and thoroughly enjoyed it. The shit they're doing with graphics these days is phenomenal - I've got a Samsung Series 8 LED (46") and the level of detail has blown my mind. -

How is it that you can manage to control the spending to the extent of a 46" LED yet can't get a say in the food prep? Just saying?<br />
<br />
Watching Ironclad at the moment (on and off). Gory as! -

You should have seen the extended grief I copped for it though! Even though I got it on sale for a song and it has improved the quality of life tenfold.<br />
<br />
It is always better to ask forgiveness than permission... but I think I got my last shot with that one <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -

<br />
Extremely over the top Italian buddy cop thriller from the 70's. Taken to a parodic level.<br />
<br />
Fun! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
