Black Caps v South Africa

Wonder if the Black Caps can get to 100?

First time I have seen Tahir not too happy about taking a wicket

@Godder Statistically, it would be hard to argue against him.
Changes in bat technology could still make a case for Astle.
Guppy's record is outstanding - especially opening - and that high score and strike rate are superior to Rossco, but those 17 centuries still edge it for me, statistically. To properly compare them you'd probably also need to look at some of the contexts in which their big innings (and failures) have been played.
Kane is coming along nicely, as well - but, needs some more hundreds.
Scoring 17 centuries at number 4 is especially impressive, as opening obviously has the most time.

South Africa bowled so well in that game I don't think it would matter what we did. I thought we bowled well at time but it doesn't seem that way now. Wellington is a strange place to play. I have seen 300 chased down easily but also a lot of teams get rolled.

Yeah - he's probably gone for 10-15 more than he should have.
Coney reckoning on the radio that he doesn't think this pitch is particularly easy. Kepler had earlier gone for a revision to 250 being competitive.
Clever bugger that Coney

Safe to say Latham is gone and when he returns he won't be doing any wicket-keeping. Not sold on Ronchi either, might as well make Watling your number five or give Tom Blundell a go.

I just wish he would hurry up and score 25% more quickly, often he gets bogged down or out of form. Still, he's a very good player.

I guess we're not travelling well now, Hesson.
He needs to make changes for ODI 4. Latham needs to be replaced before his test form goes to custard too.
Ummm ... we beat Aus (Ok Aus B ) and split two close ones v RSA. One fuck up isn't total disaster. (Wait till we do it twice ...)
