The Trent Boult and Assorted Muppets Show so far.
Let's hope Ronchi bats a damn sight better than his keeping tonight.
Yeah - I mean, seriously - how can you have a squad of international bowlers...tasked with bowling four overs each...and most of them can't avoid spraying it down leg side...repeatedly?
It's a good thing Sir Paddles and Chats are still alive - otherwise they'd be spinning in their graves.
That's just fucking hopeless!!!!

Yeah - we've got some batting power, so if the deck is true we should be able to go close - or completely self-destruct...though that's part of the game.
I don't really understand our bowling plan at all. Surely the last thing you want to bowl is a ball short of the length on off stump e.g. the first ball of Southee's final over. I think I'd rather see a half volley.
If you can't bowl a yorker, do you really have much business bowling in T20?
Yorker...a foot outside off stump...not many places you can hit it. Yorker on the stumps as another variation. Gives the batsman much more to think about.

Munro the dirty slogger continues.......
I knew he'd go first ball.

.... imagine if we had a proper batsman available with experience in the top order. I suppose there's no chance of that happening though...
I don't think we have any of those around....
scratches head......Nup, cant think of anyone.

Hesson might know of a 17 year old who just hit his first 50 in a T20 college game though.

I don't really mind this selection experiment.
They've basically picked Kane to anchor the innings and then a bunch of hitters around him.
Philips, Munro, Bruce, Anderson, Ronchi, De Grandhomme - even the guys who follow - Boult and Southee.
Most of the time a couple of those are going to come off and do some damage.
It might be going a bit over the top with muscle, but I'm interested to see what happens.
