@mariner4life Your wish comes true cause Denver are out of the playoff race now, thanks in part to this:
Fat guy touchdown pass! Loved it - and sets Poe up for the post season nicely... who's going to front 11 into the line with him in the backfield?
-
@canefan Chip Kelly will be pissed, he could have ditched the 49ers back in November to go for the Oregon Ducks job again. Bout time Baalke left, a weasel who took all the credit for rebuilding the 49ers when it was actually the work of his predecessor. Baalke`s inability to draft means it will be tough to find a top GM, unless they're a 49er alumni. Head coach? Maybe see if that Western Michigan coach wants a challenge. He is a former 49er.
-
Gary Kubiak is retiring as head coach of the Broncos. Big opening there.

Rex Ryan need not apply

Baalke and York have basically fucked us for the foreseeable future

Browns lose in OT 27-24 to a Steelers side that was resting its starters. Cleveland guaranteed first overall pick in a pretty weak draft.

@mimic should be Tom Brady but the NFL will stop that. Can Dak Prescott win MVP but lose Rookie of the year to Ezekiel Elliott?
I don't think Dak or Zeke should be anywhere near MVP.. They can battle it out for Rookie MVP..
But yeh, I agree, Brady should win it with his crazy 28:2 TD to INT ratio..
But because of his suspension, I reckon it might go to Rodgers. -
@mimic All the talk in the media here in North America suggests Rodgers but Brady has been awesome all season, bar the four games he missed due to the stupid suspension. Rodgers only really turned it on in the backend of the season when other teams began to fade (Washington, Minnesota etc).
-
Despite the big numbers, Rodgers has been average half the season, so I wouldn't give MVP to him.
I'm thinking Matt Ryan should get MVP, he's been consistently great through the whole season. He has a ridiculous 9.3 YPA(1st), a 117.1 passer rating(1st), 38TDs(2nd), 69.9% completion(3rd) and 4944 passing yards(2nd). The near 5000 yards for the season is pretty crazy when you think he's 17th in passing attempts this year.
Besides Brady(who probably won't win due to the suspension), there's really no one else who has played at Ryan's consistently high level this season.
-
Ryan deserves it. They're a little unheralded, but shit that team can score. Their playoff run is not weather affected either. They're a huge SB shout
-
Watching Steelers/Dolphins in Toronto. All the Fins fans have left the bar with the score now 30-6. Picking Giants in a close one against the Packers but who knows.
-
Connor Cook did his best Osweiler impersonation for the Raiders yesterday.
The Steelers v Dolphins game is on at the moment, and the big 3 for the Steelers are making light work of the Fins.

ATL fans didn't even want him back for this season. Just 12 months ago, he was getting booed off the field by fans. He even went to a Hawks game and got booed there too.
-
I watched the start of the Pack v Giants game this morning, and it could have been very different if OBJ hadn't left his hands in Miami...
-
@mariner4life Eli is getting no help from his main recievers.
