Bad declaration imo.
Check out this clown.
To be fair to you BSG, it was looking ok for quite some time.

@hydro11 I heard that Cairns was spotted leaving the ground
Don't think this was a fix but one can never be certain these days.
Its hard to fix wickets and almost never done. And fixing on tests is rare comparted to limited over stuff. Most fixing over the last 20 years has been easily controlled stuff like runs scored in a 10 over burst, wides, runs off opening over, no. of no balls etc. All shit you can put bets on on the illegal markets.

Is this really true (from CricInfo) ??
New Zealand secure their first Test series win over Pakistan since 1985.
@MN5 ?
I picked 2-0 and i got it right.
I'm awesome.
Yep, you went against history and recent form and picked a comfortable Black Caps victory, so well done to you Mr Cricket Oracle.

Probably my proudest fern moment since I predicted David Tua would knock out Shane Cameron in the 2nd round back in 09.
I can only take some of the credit though. Some of the Black Caps really played a part too.

Epic fan fail from me. Bunked work to attend, sat in the stands bored shitless until 3.15 and then left to get kids. Santner had just bought the first wicket at that point and you wouldn't have bet on a second.
I only missed the most ridiculous collapse in history.
Brings to mind my cousin's fail at that Seddon Park epic, the 2007 ODI vs Australia. He left when we were about 50-4 chasing 350 and listened on the car radio as McMillan, McCullum etc got us home. Thankfully I stayed for the entirety of that game.

@No-Quarter Wags is magnificent. I love the guy. He looks like he is trying at least 10% harder than everyone else. And his aggro is genuinely paying off. His average is now better than Boult's and I think he's 6th all time for NZ (min. 50 wickets) on averages and 12th on wickets (should be up around 8th by the end of the summer unless Boult or Southee pig out on the Bangles).

@Tregaskis You should take some credit for the win. It's a bit like heading off to the toilet during a game only to find someone scores while you are away!
Must avoid Aaron Smith jokes ...

Very hard not to love the Wag and his work. Is he first name bowler picked now dp you guys reckon or is that still Boult?

@MN5 Boult may still be the spearhead but when the pitch is doing very little and you need someone to bend their back to try and make things happen Wagner is your man
Yup, I think both are equally important now. Neither can do the job of the other. We need Boult to exploit swing and seam, and we need Wags to break his back with the old ball. He just doesn't give anyone an inch, regardless of the conditions.

I know that is is unfashionable on the fern but this is a pretty good match return.
O M R W Econ 4s
TG Southee 24 6 60 2 2.50 113 9
TG Southee 21 4 80 6 3.80 96 13So, 8 for 140 @ 17.5...
Agree about the Wag sentiments though. Just tries so hard and usually reaps the rewards for his efforts.

@MN5 off to Aus on the 4th December for the Chappell-Hadlee Series, then back home for Bangladesh, Australia and South Africa.

I remember him during the Indian tour of NZ a few years ago. He is a real spark plug, a throw back to the days when fast/med bowlers actually made you believe they wanted to hurt you. That bouncer that hit the guy in the head was a great ball. He ducked into it though and it could have easily been a Phil Hughes situation as he wasn't wearing the extra attachments. Why they aren't a permanent part of all helmets now is beyond me
