The Maoris should destroy that Munster team shorn of its Irish internationals. The Munster halves are a woeful combination. Pity Munster aren't remotely at full strength.

This looks like the type of game to discover what sort of playing Akira Ioane could be at Test level. It's nasty conditions and is already proving a combative game. The Maori need him to be at his abrasive best, getting over the gainline, building momentum, cherishing possession and not getting frazzled by a passionate opposition.

The Munster pack that's supposed to be destroyed hasn't got that particular memo so far. 5 - 0 to Munster after 15.

Is that Munster try scorer really quick, or is James Lowe not as fast as I thought?

The Maori ABs are terrible! Only Otere Black can hold his head high. Another week another Irish team putting a NZ pack to the sword 😞

Think Munster should be winning this, they have the strong wind behind them in the second half if I'm not mistaken, paying evens or $2, fill yer boots.

It's only their 2nd game together and with a different line-up from last week. Not really surprising that it looks disorganised. No excuses for bad ball handling though. Should be able to play in this weather. Black, Christie and Bateman are okay.

    Tom Franklin not available huh?

I saw him get injured against the US. A couple of minutes later Cooper brings Price on for Skeen. Franklin is forced to play on. Really smart Coops.

@Wurzel Actually, James Lowe started it, not Ioane.

@Stargazer It's not about who started it it's the fact whenever there is anything simmering away he'll be sure to get himself involved. Happened two minutes earlier with the high tackle.

I hope DMac is better than his brother tomorrow, because Marty hasn't caught a ball all game. ... Finally, he has been replaced!
