one of the better performances from Waikato this year - bloody annoying how hot and cold we've been.
Trainor and Whets were outstanding - Whets is playing his best rugby. Trainor will be awesome once he gets the dumb shit out of his game, I guess some issues around his size, makes Dmac look mcmassive - but he can fill out he's just a kid.
Sad insight into the new rules when Waikato don't even bother putting a 7 on the paddock...
HB laying a lot of the blame at the feet of Ihaia West and his form - is he going to be the starting 10 for the Blues still next year? Not great for them if he is.

AKL played Akira at 7 and Dixon also played 7 before returning to the ABs.
Teams will just play their 3 best loose forwards no matter what their traditional positions are. And the bigger the better.

@WillieTheWaiter Agree about Douglas - he might be a chance to make the Maori tour.
Some dumb shit by Reece and Trainor led to the PT and Hawke's Bay's comeback. Trainor didn't have much luck with the TMO decisions in this game and needs to work on his positional play. But a big talent.
I have been disappointed with Christie in these last few games. Moli looked really rusty on his return.
