One of the Chillis last good songs before they went poppy and bubblegummy and said "California" every second word......
I've got a bit of a love hate relationship with them based on releasing nothing good for over 20 years but by golly they were sensational at their best.

Just saw Jerry Cantrell. Absolute legend.
Crowd was unreal. He had a singer for Staley parts but you couldn’t really hear him as the crowd were so good.
Man in the box a life highlight.
Alice in Chains are so fun to rediscover years later.
This is their most underrated banger I reckon.

They wrote this for Eddie Van Halen.
Frusciante left the studio and went for a walk and came back to do the solo in one take.
I agree with your point in general though. Still one of my favourite bands of all time.
But this is quality from 2 years ago.

Frusciante always played with so much feel

Underappreciated 80s love song
Saw them at Cardiff Castle last Sunday evening. Superb.

Still just as much of a slow cheesy banger as the day I first heard it.....
This version came up on my playlist recently

The definitive version IMHO, where covers can be better than the original

@bayimports
Fontaines D.C always confuse me. I see the name, and think of The LaFontaines - who are a guilty pleasure of mine, then I realise it's not them, and assume it's a trap and they're probably shit.
And ...I had always assumed the theme song for Mobland was done by Ren... so now I'm all sorts of mixed up. And forced to rethink my prejudices. I hate doing that.
