Aaron Smith naughty boy?

Can't believe how many articles are dedicated to this, our media are a bunch of fuckwits.
He was a knob, he got caught, but as above it isn't like he raped her (which tv1 had the gall to say 'at this stage there is nothing to indicate anything other than consensual sex') or bashed her, I guess the only law he broke was sex in a public place, although you can argue a toilet is a private place, given what you normally go there to do is no business of anyone and not subject to scrutiny.

I can entirely believe it and, let me warn you, the media have barely got warmed up on this.

Yes, it is pathetic. I scanned NZH and Stuff headlines while eating lunch at my desk and saw the pile of articles dedicated to various angles outrage. It's been a busy morning for Rattue and other prominent NZ whingers...Louise Nicholas, any female brand expert, the Fair Go chick. Hilary Barry was seen practicing a disgusted look in the mirror of the bathroom of whatever place she works at now. I can only assume a staffer wasn't snorting Charlie beside her.
To be honest, it drove me to the business section to read about Dick Smith and the rebates strategy debacle.

I don't want to live in a world where the consequences of a footballer rooting a skanky chick in a toilet are anything other than a round of high fives from the boys.
Why "skanky chick"? Unless you're calling Smith skanky, too?

Nothing says romance like the smell of an airport toilet cubicle.
Classy stuff!
can't be any worse than the smell in the toilets of Hamilton's Fat Ladies Arms.
This is a fucking non-story. Some Kiwis are still so hung up on sex.
Damn prudes.

When asked to comment Nick Willis said " if only he'd taken my advice Aaron wouldn't be in this mess right now. He did have some understandable concerns about rsi in his wrists slowing down his pass and turned my offer to show him my training regime . My thoughts and prayers are with his family right now ."

he rooted someone in an airport toilet, i think that goes without saying.

there might be something in that. Stronger wrists mean a snappier pass

Oh I realise that, but the fact of what else is going on in the world, and they focus on a dude getting his end away in an airport toilet, you'd think this was a world first!
I repeat, our media is made Of fuckwits (i am sure there are some genuine journos still out there, but they don't seem to get a decent profile, or if they do, they get forced down the woman's day type path!
Aside from when Hilary died a few months back, I had barely seen her on TV so didn't really know much about her, I've seen more than I'd like on breakfast, and surely she was sacked from TV3? Now, she turned an average morning show into fucking shit morning show.
-
The main thing we all need to be focusing on right now is
how do we turn this in to a new nickname?
I mean, SBW was so easy to turn in to Dunny Bill, bit A Smith might need a bit more lateral thinking

@Chris-B. oooh yea. It's only just breaking. There are all sorts of associations and support groups looking for their time in the sun that the media can call and get click-bait angles from.
If you were playing a drinking game where you had to drink every time the phrase, "rugby culture" gets mentioned in the mainstream media in the next week, I'm guessing you'd need more than a six pack.

I'm pretty happy for the rugby culture to be associated with consensual sex. I mean, the only voyeurs this time weren't even invited, and weren't associated with rugby. NZ has a toilet pervert problem

What about drinking games?

I think it's important that everybody reads this point of view to get some perspective on why this is such a massive issue.
(said, nobody, ever).
