Interested to hear, that Lions have to more or less sign of the NZ/PI/Indigenous team that they play against.

Where did you hear that rumour?

Not a rumour mate, heard Justin Harrison talk about it on tv. Thought Tim Horan was going to have a fit 😁.
All part of the touring contract and it being changed.

If it's the warmup game, can understand that - Lions probably don't want a hard match after just coming off the plane and getting jetlagged!

I don't think Lolesio is a big loss for the Wallabies.

Na mate, we all know Lions tours are rushed at best of times. And if you agree to an itinerary to suit the time you got players, I think they have every right to be careful if through no fault of their own that opposition has been changed. They actually sign a contract when these tours are organised, with agreement on who they play etc, so if one party wants to change things ,I think they have every right to go hey hang on let's just be a little careful. You have to remember it's the Aussies breaking/changing the contract.
RA could of just had a team selected from Victoria to play and no problems .

With Pete Samu signing with the Waratahs it gives another option for the wallabies in the loose forwards depending how far his side goes in the top 14 finals. Quite a stacked position for the Wallabies

James Lowe played against the lions in 2017, I wonder how many other players can claim the feat of having played both for and against the Lions on official tours?

Ricky Flutey did too I believe

Willie John McBride is out yelling at the clouds…….

The surprising thing to me is some who I thought were born overseas ( like Huw Jones ) were actually born in the UK

Jared Wright  /  May 11  /  British and Irish Lions

Willie John McBride 'bothered' by foreign-born British & Irish Lions and reveals 'most important thing' for Henry Pollock

Willie John McBride 'bothered' by foreign-born British & Irish Lions and reveals 'most important thing' for Henry Pollock

British and Irish Lions great Willie John McBride has taken issue with Andy Farrell's decision to select foreign-born players in his squad.

Andrew Goodman was on The Breakdown last night (he's an Ass. coach for the Lions).

He said the touring party will be 90 people?

What the fuck will they all do? Maybe every player is bringing his mother?

@Canes4life I guess "screeching at lineout time" isn't a substitute for leadership.
