Unfortunately the Neil Young early 80s concerts aren't on youtube anymore.

Some of them are really great. Live versions of Sample and Hold were excellent. The audio is still good though.

Not really a full song, but this came up on my YT feed. I was too young to go to this, but Cath Tizard's comments are hilarious.

I’ve heard rumours Cath Tizard became a closet Slayer and Pantera fan in later years.

Deep Purple were good in 1968-69, fucken AWESOME from about 1970-73 and again in 1984. Very good in 1974-76. In Rock is their best album.

Over 100 Million albums sold despite pretty much releasing shit from 1986 onwards ( House of Blue light was a decent album I guess ). They sounded like old has beens in 1994, the fact they've released stuff pretty regularly since then is baffling but kinda inspiring.

    A truly great rock band.

I find it absolutely hilarious and maybe a bit embarassing how much they offended conservative old New Ziland back in the day.

Fantastic tone on that bloke. He must have been a hell of a singer in his 40s.

Cartman sings “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden! Gotta admit, the first part was hard to do without bursting into laughing tears! Have a great week, stay awesome, and spread kindness. #Cartman...

Her voice normally irritates me but this really works for her. I quite enjoy this version.

@Crazy-Horse my thoughts exactly. Using her actual talent instead of whiny semi-pop/country shit.

    The content obviously helps.

Best white bluesman who ever lived ( and I mean white ) with honourable mentions to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billy Gibbons and Alvin Lee.

Gravelly voice perfectly suited to the music, best slide guitarist ever. It is seriously hard to make that style of guitar sound good and he nailed it every time.

Certainly not a household name but he should have been

Don't often drop into this thread, but for some reason this version of "Only You" dropped into my timeline and I just find it really amusing ...
