    Injury list: NSW Waratahs

    • Charlie Gamble (ill)
    • Max Jorgensen (syndesmosis)
    • Jake Gordon (medial ligament)
    • Mahe Vailanu (broken arm)
    • Darby Lancaster (concussion)
    • Dave Porecki (calf)
    • Fergus Lee-Warner (foot)
    • Lucas Ripley (shoulder)

Maybe not a thousand, but yeah, not the most convincing Waratahs side. Gleeson has been the best of the loose forwards but both Gamble and Leota have been underwhelming, in my opinion. Leota needs to have a big game, or he'll risk losing his spot to Lee-Warner when the latter recovers from his injury. Adamson gets the start at 7 this week but he'll need to seriously up his physicality. I've seen him fall off a fair few tackles and cleans.

Also interesting to see Walton at 12 and Foketi at 13. To me, the inverse would make more sense but Mike Catt seems to think differently. Henry O'Donnell seems to have paid the price for some flimsy midfield defence in recent weeks.

I am pleased Wrampling is getting a start. I think he is one the best young midfielders going around in NZ at Super level. I really hope he can stay injury free from now on.

    No try. Right call.

Surely the TMO can call that on the fly

    Tahs have some big players

Chiefs are going to have to work to unlock their defence

@Yeetyaah said in Waratahs v Chiefs:

In other words Harrison is commentating
